LuxeDetect for AI assistants
Ask your assistant to verify a LuxeDetect certificate, decode a date code or serial number, find a real-vs-fake guide, or price an authentication. Free, read-only, no account needed.
- “Is LuxeDetect certificate 3f9a1c2e real?”
- “What does the date code SP1919 on my Louis Vuitton mean?”
- “How do I tell if a Chanel Classic Flap is fake?”
- “Do you authenticate Goyard bags, and what photos do I need?”
- “How much is a 2-hour authentication for a Hermès bag with valuation?”

What it can do
- LuxeDetect services and prices
get_services - Returns what LuxeDetect sells (authentication, identification, estimated value, the Premium package, written statements), all prices, and the rules an assistant must follow when describing them.
- Price quote for an authentication order
get_price_quote - Returns the price in USD for one item, with a breakdown and a link where the user can place the order. The brand must be the brand name only (not the model); the result says when the brand was not recognised, in which case the price may differ at checkout. Does not create an order.
- Verify a LuxeDetect certificate
verify_certificate - Checks a LuxeDetect authentication certificate by its ID (the 8-character ID printed on the certificate, e.g. "3f9a1c2e", or the full ID). Returns whether it exists, the brand, the verdict (authentic, fake or inconclusive), the date and a link to the public certificate page. Use it when someone is buying an item that comes with a LuxeDetect certificate. It confirms the certificate, not that the item in front of the buyer is the one that was checked: tell them to compare the item with the certificate page.
- Decode a date code or serial number
decode_code - Reads a brand's date code or serial number: era, production year, factory or country where the code says so, and red flags in its format. One-code decoders: Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Fendi, Balenciaga, Bvlgari, Bottega Veneta, Coach, Moncler. For Hublot, Patek Philippe, Saint Laurent, Goyard, Tiffany & Co, Burberry, Stone Island, Canada Goose, Christian Louboutin, Salvatore Ferragamo, Celine, Chloe, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Givenchy, Kate Spade it returns the tool page, which needs more than one field. A decoder reads what the code says (era, year, factory). It cannot tell whether the item is authentic: counterfeiters copy valid codes, and some genuine items have none. Say so when you share the result.
- Find an authentication guide
find_authentication_guide - Returns LuxeDetect's free "real vs fake" guides for a brand, optionally for a model or topic (e.g. "Neverfull", "date code", "box"), with links. Use it when someone wants to check an item themselves.
- Check whether LuxeDetect authenticates a brand
check_brand_supported - Says whether LuxeDetect authenticates a brand, in which categories, and links to the order form for it. Pass the brand name only, not the model.
- Photos needed for an authentication
get_photo_checklist - Lists the photos LuxeDetect needs for an item of a category (and brand, where it changes the list), required first. Use it to help someone prepare before they order.
What it can't do
- It does not authenticate items. A verdict comes only from LuxeDetect's specialists, after you order and upload photos at luxedetect.com/submit-order.
- A decoded date code or serial number is not proof: counterfeiters copy valid codes, and some genuine items have none.
- It cannot place, read or change orders, and it never sees your account.
- Verifying a certificate confirms that LuxeDetect issued it. Compare the item you are buying with the certificate page to make sure it is the same one.
Privacy
The connector receives only what your assistant sends to a tool: a brand, a code, a category or a certificate ID. It never receives your conversation, your files or your account details, and it needs no sign-in.
We do not store tool inputs or link them to you. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (time, IP address, the request) for a short period for security and abuse prevention. See also our privacy policy. Links the tools return carry a tag saying they came from the connector, so we can count visits from it.
A certificate check returns only what the public certificate page shows: the brand, the verdict, the date and, for a fake, the part that failed. Never the owner, their photos or their order.
